Lynne Oldham

Chief People Officer, Zoom

Lynne Oldham is a highly accomplished C-suite executive with more than 25 years of demonstrated leadership driving profitable growth strategies for startups, private and public companies - domestic and international - across a variety of industries, including 10 years in investment banking.  She is currently Chief People Officer at Zoom (NASDAQ: ZM), having joined just prior to IPO in early 2019, to navigate continued business scaling, employee engagement and safeguard culture.  Less than one year into post-IPO scaling, the pandemic fueled additional Zoom growth which amounted to an increase in daily platform participants from 30M to 300+M. Lynne has put to use her 25+ years of business AND people transformational expertise to more than triple the headcount in one year while also working in a fully remote environment.  She has helped the company thrive in that COVID-assisted boom that created emotive brand recognition, including keeping a special culture alive and well by creating and also re-inventing programs including leadership training, virtual interviewing, onboarding, employee wellness and internal communications.

In addition to helping Zoom through the pandemic, Lynne joined forces with four other tech company’s chief people leaders to co-create Flexwork , a venture that shares ideas and experiments about re-tooling work with the mission to revolutionize the way we work now and in the future. Prior to Zoom, Lynne held leadership roles with Televerde in Phoenix, AZ, Driscoll’s in Watsonville, CA, Suntrust bank in Atlanta, GA and BNP Paribas, in NY, NY.

Lynne serves as Chair of the Board for the Arouet Empowers, a 501(c)(3) serving current and formerly incarcerated women to give them a second chance at life. Lynne also serves on the Advisory Board of ZoomCares (Zoom’s charitable foundation) and Volition Capital Strategic Advisors IV Fund.  Lynne has recently been named to the HRD100, Human Resource Director’s 2021 global list of top HR leaders.  Lynne is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and the State University of New York, College at New Paltz.  Outside work, Lynne is married to her best friend (met in high school) and paints abstracts and creates her own clothing.
